Some unique features, of the car were the all LCD monitor display, for odometer, gauges etc. The car also included a “belt type” steering wheel that used to rotate in either direction while mounted on the main display. The Citroën Zabrus is a shooting brake with a design of 2+2 seating configuration, with two scissor doors upfront for easy access to the rear seats.[4]
The Zabrus was powered by the 2141 cc turbocharged I4 engine from the BX 4TC, producing 147 kW (197 hp; 200 PS) at 5250 rpm and 294 N⋅m (217 lb⋅ft) of torque at 2750 rpm. Like the 4TC, the Zabrus is all wheel drive and power is sent to the wheels through the five speed manual transmission. This setup gave it the top speed of 138 mph (222 km/h).[5]

Der Citroën Zabrus war ein Konzeptfahrzeug das Citroën 1986 auf dem Turiner Autosalon präsentierte. Dabei handelte es sich um einen 4-sitzigem Shooting Brake mit 3 Türen, den der Designer Bertone entworfen hatte. Die Basis des Zabrus war der Citroën BX 4TC mit 2,1-Liter-Ottomotor, 150 kW und Fünfganggetriebe. Zur ungewöhnlichen Karosserieform gehörten Scherentüren.
