Predecessor

In 2023, a hybrid version will be offered, making it the first Dacia-branded vehicle to feature a hybrid drivetrain.[8] While the car has some "crossover" design flourishes, it is not intended to be used as an SUV.[8]

Overview

In June 2022, less than a year after its commercial release, the Jogger receives, like the entire Dacia range, a slight update revealing the brand's new logo. The grille was slightly modified. The steering wheel was updated with the new logo, and all the other badges were replaced. The trim levels have been revised and a new Lichen Kaki colour is launched.[9]

The Jogger will soon get a hybrid powertrain option, called the Hybrid 140 engine, which refers to the power output of 140 horsepower (104 kW).[10] Power output is the same from the mild-hybrid 1.6 TCe 140 12V petrol engine already found on the Renault Clio, Captur and Arkana models.

The Jogger Hybrid 140 will be unveiled at the 2022 Paris Motor Show,[11] with orders to open from early 2023 and deliveries to arrive in the spring of that year.[12]

Euro NCAP

The Jogger in its standard European configuration received 1 star from Euro NCAP in 2021.[13]
