The design targeted one peak of aerodynamics, and reached the drag coefficient of 0.235 cw, not least caused by the panoramic windshield. The car’s face foreshadowed that used on both the 1984 Opel Kadett E and the 1986 Opel Omega, the latter being the successor of the Opel Rekord E. The hubcap design came in mass production.[2][3]
