Der Renault Wind ist ein Coupé-Cabriolet des französischen Automobilherstellers Renault. Das Fahrzeug wurde erstmals auf dem 80. Genfer Auto-Salon am 2. März 2010 vorgestellt. Verkaufsstart in Europa war im September 2010.

Das Fahrzeug basiert auf der Plattform des Renault Twingo II und wurde wie dieser im slowenischen Werk in Novo mesto gebaut. Das elektrisch versenkbare Hardtop klappt in 12 Sekunden in den Kofferraum um. Der Wind ist im Gegensatz zum gleichnamigen Konzeptfahrzeug von 2004 ein reiner Zweisitzer ohne Notsitz. Die Basisversion war bei Markteinführung für 16.900 Euro erhältlich.
Die Produktion lief im Juni 2013 aus.[1]
Design
Hauptmerkmal des Wind ist sein L-förmiges, um 180° öffnendes Verdeck, ähnlich dem des Ferrari 575 Superamerica. Auf diese Weise verspricht Renault eine Öffnungs-/Schließzeit von 12 Sekunden.
Ausstattungsvarianten
Den Renault Wind gab es in Deutschland in den Ausstattungsvarianten Dynamique und Night&Day.
In Österreich war er in der Basisversion Wind nur mit der kleineren Motorisierung, als Exception und in der Top-Version Gordini (entspricht der deutschen Night&Day-Version) mit beiden Motoren erhältlich. Es wurden 4 Metallic- und 1 Uni-Lackierung angeboten.
